Vicki Farina is a
speaker and life
coach. She
has earned a
Bachelor of Science
in Church Leadership
and is working to
complete a Master of
Arts degree in
Christian
Ministries. In
addition, she is
currently working to
complete her
professional
coaching
certification with
the International
Coaching Federation
(www.coachfederation.org),
and she is an active
Valwood Coach
through the Lake
Hickory Leadership
Center.
In teaching and
coaching both men
and women, Vicki has
found her
experiences to be
invaluable.
Currently, she takes
an active role in
small group Bible
study and leading
efforts to focus on
reaching the
unchurched, and she
currently serves as
a member of the
Global Pastors’
Wives’ Board of
Directors. Vicki
also enjoys speaking
at leadership and
marriage retreats,
women’s events,
church services, and
conferences to
inspire others and
has been able to
speak in the U.S.,
Canada, and Africa.
During her time as
Bible Study
Coordinator at a
church in Wisconsin,
Vicki mentored many
women and attended
nine years of Bible
Study Fellowship.
While attending the
North American
Conference for
Itinerate
Evangelists (NACIE),
Vicki was deeply
impacted by Ann
Graham Lotz, and
today Ann serves as
Vicki’s silent
mentor.
Like her husband,
Vicki is passionate
about partnering
with individuals to
help them live and
lead from a faith
perspective. She
agrees with
describing excellent
leaders as “those
who embody deep
personal humility
and fierce resolve,
influencing success
which is felt long
after they move
on.”
Vicki loves to study
and teach God’s word
and enjoys
traveling, cooking,
and collecting
recipes from around
the world. She is
married to her
college sweetheart,
Sam Farina, and
together they
have one married
son. In August 2007
they were blessed
with their first
granddaughter. Sam
and Vicki reside in
Huntersville, North
Carolina.
